Defeat

DEFEAT

Darkness came before my eyes,
I have been defeated.
And there is nothing I can do.
Nothing, nothing at all.
The battle against Angels and Devils began.
I was a mortal angel warrior of the Lord.
No more, no less.
He order my brothers and sisters to fight.
I could not refuse the Lord.
The mortals were put in front as shields to the immortals.
How could the Lord make shields out of us?
Who even knows if those were the Lord's words when the messenger called us.
It may have been the Devil's demons.
Then the battle began.
One by one the immortals killed.
One by one the angel mortals died protecting the immortals.
One by one.
And one by one my brothers and sisters died before my eyes.
Then by surprised, I died along with them.
I stared up in the sky, it began to rain.
The Lord was crying for his lost kindred spirits.
Spirits is what we become when we die.
So we became spirits haunting the Earth for a purpose.
A purpose, a revenge.
We will taste defeat when we go to heaven and hell.
